CELEMI Sustainability™ is a facilitated business simulation that builds business acumen by challenging participants to balance short-term business performance with the need to make decisions that build long-term sustainability and resilience.
In the simulation, teams lead a company through a major transformation, making it more sustainable and resilient while still delivering results in the near term. With a limited budget, they must prioritize and sequence change initiatives that affect people, planet, and profit across the entire value chain. Their decisions shape the company’s business model, including its move toward circularity, its ability to navigate ESG legislation, and its capacity to remain profitable and engaging for employees.
The focus is on developing practical judgment by connecting operational, human, and environmental factors to real business outcomes, rather than on theoretical sustainability concepts.

Typical participants include managers and cross-functional teams across operations, supply chain, finance, HR, sustainability, strategy, and commercial roles who influence decisions with both short- and long-term impact.

CELEMI Sustainability™ is delivered as a facilitated, team-based experience, either face-to-face or virtually via the Celemi Learning Space™. Sessions typically run 4–7 hours. Participants work in teams of 2–4, with standard group sizes of 12–30 per facilitator. The simulation also scales well for larger, multi-team sessions with several hundred participants.
