Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and forward-leaning Fullstack Developer to strengthen our Product & Technology organization. This role is central to designing, building, operating, and scaling Celemi’s digital ecosystem – including our simulation platform, products, and custom client applications.

You will work agile across the entire stack, from front-end experiences to backend services and possibly cloud operations. This includes driving best-practice engineering, ensuring reliability and security. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing hands-on development with overall operational ownership, thrives in cross-functional collaboration, and is motivated by creating stable, high-quality user experiences.

This is an impactful role with significant influence on how Celemi evolves its digital offering.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Application Development

Design, develop, maintain, and operate Fullstack applications using Node.js/Typescript, React, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Translate product requirements into clean, testable, and maintainable code.
Implement intuitive, user-centric interfaces in close collaboration with the UX/Design team.

Optionally: Cloud Operations & DevOps

Operate and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Terraform) to ensure uptime, scalability, and security.
Manage CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions; Terraform), deployment workflows, and automated testing frameworks (Playwright).
Monitor application performance, logs, and alerts; respond to incidents and mitigate technical risks.

Technical Excellence & Continuous Improvement

Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and engineering standards development.
Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and drive technical enhancements.
Document systems, processes, and decisions to ensure quality and cross-team alignment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product Owners to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Collaborate with UX/Designers and other developers to ensure cohesive user experiences.
Interface with clients, partners, and vendors when required for integrations or custom solutions.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
3–5+ years of professional experience in Fullstack development, preferably in SaaS or product-focused environments.
Proficiency in Node.js/Typescript, React, MySQL, and modern development workflows (Git, REST/WebSocket APIs).
Fluency in English; Swedish is beneficial but not required.

Preferred

Experience with CI/CD practices, testing frameworks, and cloud environments.
Experience with AWS, MongoDB, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
Background in scalable architecture, DevOps, or security-by-design development.
Familiarity with modern monitoring, observability, and incident response tooling.

Personal Attributes

Analytical & Structured – Able to break down complex challenges into scalable solutions.
Solution-Oriented – Pragmatic and proactive in addressing development and operational needs.
Team-Oriented – Values collaboration and contributes actively to shared outcomes.
Self-Driven – Takes ownership and delivers with consistency and reliability.
