The School
Celemi is making a donation to support R/Emb Dorapane Maha Vidyalaya, located in a rural village in Embilipitiya, Sri Lanka. In a community where resources are scarce, we’re helping create a vibrant, inspiring art room that will become a beacon of creativity, learning, and fun.
The Challenge
In this beautiful village, students from struggling families face significant educational barriers. Many lack the basic tools and spaces needed to explore their artistic potential. The school’s dedicated headmaster and teachers have a vision: to provide a space that nurtures creativity, imagination, and self-expression.
The Transformation
Our support will help to:
Create a fully equipped art room.
Design the space to encourage creativity with proper lighting, storage, and seating arrangements.
Repair and repaint walls, ceilings, and floors.
Upgrade furniture, such as tables, chairs, and easels.
Offer opportunities for students to showcase their artwork.
