Record numbers, record cold, and record fun at our 2019 Americas partner meeting

It was the coldest November on record in Chicago, but that didn’t stop a record number of our Americas partner network from gathering for some serious fun, collaboration, and learning at our annual Americas partner meeting.

From November 13th-15th we gathered in snowy, cold Chicago to discuss hot topics in training and development, explore new Celemi products, and share our best facilitating tips and tricks with one another.

On Wednesday the meeting kicked off with a welcome reception, where everyone enjoyed a Celemi Cocktail, garnished with some apples and oranges. Partners both long-time and new from all across the Americas region enjoyed connecting, building bridges, and warming up before the two exciting days ahead.

Thursday was a day of looking ahead, with a presentation of future trends in the Training and Development by Celemi CEO Kjell Lindqvist and the official Americas launch of our two newest solutions Celemi Partnerstock™ and Celemi Agile Move™. These two simulations respectively address supply chain management and agile ways of work for non-IT companies, and were met with great fanfare and excitement as partners could see a direct need for these solutions with their clients.

Just like at our EMEA and APAC partner meetings, we had interesting discussions about hot topics in the Training and Development industry in years to come. We then capped off the day with an elegant dinner, with some of us dressed to the nines in a tuxedo!

On Friday we shared success stories and tips and tricks to running even more effective seminars. Sharing perspectives, experiences, and points of view on how to fully engage participants in learning left everyone excited to go home and put this tips into practice.

A big thank you to our very own Shobhana who held everything together and helped ensure that everyone was comfortable and got as much as possible out of the meeting. We look forward to meeting again next year, and are considering escaping the snow to a more tropical location!
